Fabulous never worn pair of womens vintage black leather Mary Jane style shoes, with interesting Deco cut-out Velvet or suede straps on the upper. Buckles at top are silver and black enamel in the Art Deco fashion. Leather soles. In original box ( as found- some boxes don't correspond to shoe or size, but they are all walk-over boxes). Box has great graphics!. Stamped with "Walk Over" inside and outside on the sole.In addition, these have a stamp: Main Spring Arch"- these are really sturdy shoes! Truly a great shoe from the era.

This is part of a collection we recently procured from Carey's Shoe Store, a store that was established in 1919 in Charlevoix, Michigan. The family recently decided to let go of the remaining stock of the store, about 150 pairs, most new and in their original boxes. We will be listing them over the next few months.
Marked Size: Box marked 5 1/2, but shoe is marked 37, which corresponds with a modern 6.5and I think these are probably true to that size, even though the measurement is longer.

Condition: Deadstock, and supple enough to wear.Note:we do not guarantee that these shoes will hold up for any period of time. They are old, but in excellent condition structurally. However, theres no way to know their future.
